Vacancies on The Advocates’ Society Board of Directors are filled at the Annual General Meeting of the Society in June. A Nominations Committee recommends candidates and is tasked with ensuring that the Board represents, to the greatest extent possible, the composition and aspirations of the members of the Society.
Members are encouraged to suggest individuals for nomination to the Board by writing to The Advocates' Society Nominations Committee, 1700 - 480 University Ave., Toronto, ON, M5G 1V2 or by e-mailing alex@advocates.ca.
Please include the name and full contact particulars for each nominee, as well as a curriculum vitae and a brief statement of why you think this individual would be a valuable board member. The deadline for suggestions is October 16, 2009.
