Areas of Expertise Alan Mark has extensive experience as a corporate and commercial litigator. Mr. Mark is Toronto Chair of our Litigation Group. His areas of expertise include securities and M&A litigation, shareholder and partnership litigation, class actions, commercial litigation, and banking and insolvency. He has appeared at all levels of the Ontario and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and before various administrative tribunals. Mr. Mark has been lead counsel on a number of high-profile domestic and cross-border cases. Mr. Mark also maintains a substantial electricity law and regulation practice. For many years he has represented the interests of industry participants in proceedings before the Ontario Energy Board and the courts. Mr. Mark has advised many parties in connection with the restructuring of Ontario's electricity industry.
