Michael G. Emery is a partner with Simpson Wigle LLP, having offices in Burlington and Hamilton, Ontario. Michael practices civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation, employment law and all manner of business disputes. He served as President of the Halton County Law Association between 1996 and 1998, and as Chair of the Civil Litigation Section Executive of the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario (now Ontario Bar Association) between 1998 and 2000. Between 2001 and 2004 he sat on the Editorial Board for The Litigator, the magazine of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of The Advocates' Society. Mr. Emery has spoken at numerous conferences and programs at the Ontario Bar Association, Halton County Law Association, Hamilton Law Association, Osgoode Professional Development Program, Law Society of Upper Canada and at a recent program for The Advocates' Society.
