Chief Justice of Ontario's Advisory Committee on Professionalism: Papers from Colloquia
In September 2000, then Chief Justice Roy McMurtry established an
advisory committee composed of representatives of the judiciary, the
Law Society of Upper Canada, the legal academy and various legal
organizations, including The Advocates’ Society. One of the initiatives
of this group has been a series of colloquia on professionalism, the
papers from which now form a useful resource on this important topic.
