The Advocates' Society recognizes that young advocates (advocates of 10 years or less call) are the future of the profession. The Young Advocates’ Standing Committee of The Advocates’ Society serves as a voice for the interests of all young advocates, while fostering networking among them and between young advocates and the larger TAS membership. We participate in the activities of The Advocates' Society, its Board of Directors and in the various committees of the Board.

 

We strive to promote civility and professionalism and draw on the diversity of The Advocates' Society membership both in the make-up of our Standing Committee and in our various activities.

 

Our voice is intended to promote the interests of all current and future junior advocates in a manner that furthers the goals of The Advocates' Society. Some of our activities include:
