Young Advocates

At The Advocates' Society you don't have to dance alone!

Young Advocates' Flash Mob - Everybody Dance Now!

Young Advocates' Flash Mob

Mentoring Dinner Series:

Our voice is intended to promote the interests of all current and future junior advocates in a manner that furthers the goals of The Advocates' Society. Some of our activities include:

  • Fall Forum - the premier education, mentoring and networking conference for junior advocates, held biennially in the fall;
  • Pub Nights – a regular networking and social opportunity in a relaxed setting;
  • Wine and Cheese with the Bench – a unique opportunity to network with members of the bar in a relaxed and informal setting; and
  • Mentoring Dinner Series - an invaluable opportunity to connect with senior counsel and the Bench and ask the tough questions about your practice and career.

Shaping the Future!

yaThe Advocates' Society recognizes that young advocates (advocates of 10 years or less call) are the future of the profession. The Young Advocates’ Standing Committee of The Advocates’ Society serves as a voice for the interests of all young advocates, while fostering networking among them and between young advocates and the larger TAS membership. We participate in the activities of The Advocates' Society, its Board of Directors and in the various committees of the Board.

Join the conversation with other young advocates - check out our collaborative space for young advocates!

We strive to promote civility and professionalism and draw on the diversity of The Advocates' Society membership both in the make-up of our Standing Committee and in our various activities.
