Program Description
Attend this critical program and master the challenges of discoveries. Learn winning techniques and utilize the discovery process to your advantage. Gain tips and strategies directly from judges, masters and leading practitioners on gathering information, obtaining admissions, testing theories, and assessing witness credibility. If your practice involves discoveries, you cannot afford to miss this program!

Topics include:

  • Practical challenges of discoveries
  • Effective strategies for preparing for discovery and preparing your client for discovery
  • Conducting a discovery and implications for trial
  • Dealing with difficult witnesses and difficult counsel
  • When and how to object to questions
  • Opening and closing the discovery
  • Post-discovery challenges

Register for the morning session with presentations by noted faculty, and dynamic demonstrations. Or stay for the full day including afternoon skills workshop for hands-on exercises and learn how to conduct discoveries. Workshop materials will be distributed electronically prior to the program. Advance preparation is required.
