Marie-Andrée is a partner at WeirFoulds LLP. She specializes in complex litigation cases, including high-profile commercial disputes, class actions and public law cases. Marie-Andrée has been recognized as a leading practitioner in corporate and commercial litigation in the 2016 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada. She is also recognized in the 2016 edition of Benchmark Canada, the Guide to Canada's Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
Marie-Andrée is a co-editor and co-author of the loose-leaf textbook Electronic Documents: Records Management, e-Discovery and Trial. She has also written many articles on various litigation-related issues, and has been a speaker and instructor at several conferences and programs, including programs of The Advocates’ Society.
Marie-Andrée is the past President of the Official Languages Committee of the Ontario Bar Association. She is a director and the treasurer of the Association of Quebec Bar Members Abroad, and a director of the Centre francophone de Toronto. She is an active member of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.
Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Marie-Andrée clerked for Mr. Justice Gonthier at the Supreme Court of Canada. She also worked briefly as a Crown prosecutor in the section Criminal Prosecutions – Quebec at Justice Canada in Ottawa.
