Welcome to the Tax Litigation Practice Group Page
The Advocates' Society is pleased to announce the launch of the Tax Litigation Practice Group in 2018. This group will offer the growing number of tax litigators across Canada specialized programming, networking events with other members of the bar and the bench, and forums to explore current developments, strategies, and insights of specific interest to advocates practicing tax litigation (whether in the Tax Court of Canada or in provincial Superior Courts). Events may be in person, delivered by webcast or conference calls.
The Tax Litigation Practice Group is compiling a contact list of interested practitioners across Canada to inform them of upcoming programming and events. We ask that those interested please send their contact information, including email address, phone number, firm name, and location as applicable to Taryn Mooradian
. You do not need to be a member of The Advocates' Society to participate, although it is encouraged!
Save the date:
The Tax Litigation Practice Group's inaugural event will be a panel discussion with a judge from the Tax Court of Canada taking place in April 2019. We look forward to being in touch with you about this and other upcoming events beginning in 2019.
We hope you will join us as we launch this exciting initiative!
