The Pandemic has shed light on some of the unique challenges faced by women in the legal profession. In the last two years, you may have also taken on the role of caregiver, teacher, coach, therapist and nurse while still trying to grow a successful litigation practice.
The Advocates' Society's award-winning biennial Women in Litigation Symposium is returning this Fall to discuss and explore how we can be better allies and champions for one another.
Women litigators and judges will assemble from across Ontario to discuss the ways we can all improve the practice of law for women moving forward, together. Join us to receive candid advice and practical strategies for enhancing your life and practice as a litigator.
All women, including cis women, trans women and non-binary litigators who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of women litigators, are welcome to attend this Symposium.
Attend the Women in Litigation Symposium and you will:
- Develop strategies for having difficult but impactful workplace conversations on gender, sexism and subtle unconscious bias.
- Navigate and lead culture change in the workplace, the courtroom, and the community.
- Participate in interactive and practical mentoring roundtable discussions.
- Create concrete plans of action for implementing your goals.
Registration includes program materials and access to the live webcast recording of the plenary sessions of the program for 30 days from the date the link is sent to you.
