Finding ways to stay connected is more important than ever, and this event is a fantastic opportunity for law students, articling students, and junior lawyers to connect with one another and meet members of our advocacy community.
How does it work? There will be three rounds of breakout group discussions. In the first two rounds, you will choose the themed room of your choice, connecting with a diverse group of lawyers who will share their advice and answer your questions. In the third round, mingle with fellow students and junior lawyers in a casual setting. Through these discussions, you will be able to network while gathering insight and guidance, and ultimately beginning to build your advocacy network.
Themes Include:
- The Transition from Law School to Practice;
- Making the Most of your Experience as a Student and Junior Lawyer;
- Juggling Work and Life or Wellness; and
- Finding Your Path
This complimentary event is hosted by the
Young Advocates' Standing Committee and is exclusively for law school students, articling students, judicial law clerks, and junior lawyers. All student attendees will receive a complimentary Student Membership to The Advocates' Society.
*Due to current concerns with COVID-19, this program will be broadcast online only.
