Motions are a key tool in an advocate's arsenal.  But deciding whether and what motions to bring, when to bring them and what evidence to file can be complicated.  Join us for the first block of our Building Block Series, which focuses on theory, strategy and the motion record, and find out how to successfully plan and execute a motions strategy from start to finish. You will learn how to effectively prepare for a motion, develop a winnable theory and strategy, and build a strong evidentiary record to set up the foundation for success where a motion is necessary.

You will also have the unique opportunity to participate in an "Ask Me Anything" breakout session, where you will get the chance to ask a senior practitioner targeted questions related to motions advocacy and get the answers you need in a safe and supportive environment. Please come prepared with questions in order to get the most out of the session.
