Cancellations, Changes and Transfers

Our faculty and staff depend on the attendance and engaged participation of our program registrants at our CPD programs. That said, we understand that, on occasion, professional or personal circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending a program for which you have registered.

To receive a full refund, cancellation requests must be received:

  • at least ten (10) business days before the day of a program that includes a skills workshop component
  • at least five (5) business days before the day of a program that does not include a skills workshop component

Cancellation requests must be sent via email to cpd@advocates.ca.

Cancellation requests will not be processed if they are received later than the above deadlines.

Changes regarding the format of a program (live course or webcast) must be received at least two (2) business days before the program date to be processed. Any requests to change the format of a program received less than two (2) business days before the program date will not be processed.

Registration transfers (between registrants) should be received at least two (2) business days before the program date to be processed.
