Negotiation skills are an essential element of every good litigator's toolbox. Attend this program and obtain the skills you need to be an efficient and successful litigator. Stay for our afternoon workshop and conduct a mock negotiation in a safe learning environment.

In the morning, you will learn how to:
  • Understand core negotiation theory and strategies
  • Prepare your client (and yourself) for negotiation 
  • Draft a negotiation plan
  • Identify and overcome barriers to resolution
  • Conduct multi-party negotiations
In the afternoon workshop, you will:
  • Work with a “client” to build a strong case
  • Conduct a dynamic mock negotiation
  • Explore and overcome potential pitfalls in negotiation
  • Explore strategies to obtain creative and successful results

Morning Only: 0.5 EDI Professionalism Hours; 0.5 Professionalism Hours; 2.0 Substantive Hours
Full Day: 0.5 EDI Professionalism Hours; 1.5 Professionalism Hours; 4.5 Substantive Hours
